Happy Tuesday!

I hope everyone is having a good week so far.  Mine has been pretty good.  My dad came and stayed the night with us last night.  It was good for him to see T and see how much he's GROWN!  He's going back to WV today ... I really wish I lived closer to my mom and dad.  I miss them!

This morning at work I've been working on a White Collar Crime Notebook.  I'm making a go to binder for the person taking my place.  There is so much random stuff you have to know, so this will hopefully be helpful and they won't feel like they're stupid because they have to ask.  I know for myself, when I'm new, I don't like having to ask someone a million questions and becoming what I feel like is annoying.  SO - I'm looking out for him or her.. who ever you are - coming to take my place. :)

We've been plagued with the allergies at our house.  First Tristan, then Shelby, and now myself.  Once one person gets it, they spread it to someone else but that doesn't necessarily mean they get rid of it - cause now we all three have some sort of allergy stuff going on.  Poor tristan has a cough and his eyes are bothering him, Shelby has a sore throat and has been exhausted, and for myself I have a sore throat and I'm starting to get a cough.  Last night my body ached like I had the flu - but this morning I feel a lot better.  Thankfully :)

This past weekend I wasn't as productive as I wanted to be - and it has me in a small panic.  I HATE the feeling of not getting things done when they're on my list.  I also hate having to write things down over and over again because they didn't get done the first time.  It makes me feel lazy.  I'm on a pretty tight schedule with my de-cluttering project so any time I waste and don't do something to be productive I'm really setting myself up for a HUGE failure! Shelby and I have so much to do before we move (seriously, you have no idea) and honestly we haven't been too pro-active towards these things.  I can tell it's bothering me because anytime I think of it I feel a small sense of anxiety..  ugh!  I really need to kick it into high gear - take that clutter and random crap! ha! ;-)

Well - I have to go cover the front desk so that I can take my lunch.. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

  1. I'm sure you'll get it all done Miranda! Even if you can't get the majority of stuff done till after your last day at work, at least you'll know then that you have all day to work on stuff. I've been trying to do a little bit each day that way it doesn't feel like a giant list.

  2. That is so cool that you are making a notebook filled with all kinds of info for your replacement at work! I am not sure what kind of work you do, but I KNOW it will come in handy. I am the same way, I hate having to ask a bazillion questions when I am new somewhere, and as a new employee I would soo appreciate it if the person I was replacing did this for me. You are awesome!
p.s. don't beat yourself up too much about not getting everything done that is on your list..it will all get done, eventually. Just breathe :)
