S A T U R D A Y!

Ahhh... Saturday.  You are my friend :) I love having the whole day off so I can do what I please.  Today, that consisted of cleaning my house and playing with my little monk monk.  Mr T is out doing a gig this morning and won't be home until sometime this afternoon.  My dad is also in town - well, kinda.  He's in Daytona for bike week! We're probably gonna meet up with him sometime this evening because he's actually staying in St Augustine.  My other plans for today were to make T's birthday banner and start on his centerpieces.  Well, since his banner needs spray paint (just trust me) and it's raining, looks like that won't get done today.  I can still put the ribbon on his centerpieces, so that will for sure get done today :)  In other, not so exciting news, I am scheduled to start my "DE-CLUTTERING PROJECT" today.  I'm having to condense it into a shorter amount of time, because I'm gonna do a yard sale with one of my friends the last Saturday in March.  SO - Phase 1 & 2 will hopefully get done this weekend.  Is it bad that I'm waiting on my husband to get home to help me?

Has anyone ever experienced that which is P90X?  My husband was able to obtain a copy of this program from a friend of his.  It definitely looks do-able, but I know it's gonna be a killer in disguise!  I'm kinda excited for him to get started and I might actually start it up myself! I might not be able to walk for a week afterwards, but eventually It will get easier.   Just wait - a year from now we're gonna have killer bods and be the envy of all our friends.  ;-) A girl can dream, right?!

My little man is officially a WALKER! He has been taking a few steps here and there over the past 2 or 3 weeks and he walks with his little walker toy like a champ, but yesterday afternoon he actually WALKED back and forth between Shelby and myself.  We were sitting in our master bathroom (of all places) and we walked the distance of that 2 or 3 times!  He did such a good job!  He's not 100% confident in himself, so he won't do it on command [like a dog] but he can walk and that makes me so happy! He's only 10 months old! My goal to have him walking before his 1st birthday is becoming a reality!

Well - I guess I should probably take a shower.  Little man is taking his nap so this would give me a chance to have a shower in peace.  Afterwards I will probably start some laundry and change the litter in the litter box because one of the cats set a BOMB off in there! Whew! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

LUNCH BREAK

Hey ya'll!

Well, right now I'm on my lunch break AT HOME. yay! :)  I just finished tidying up my kitchen - it's really been bugging me so I decided to come home during lunch and clean it.  ha ha. :)  This evening Mr. Tucci is working valet downtown, so it's just me and Little Tucci.  I didn't want to be spending the evening cleaning, I wanted to have some Momma and Tristan time!  I don't know what we'll get into.  Maybe we'll have a "date" in tonight.  We can go for a walk or watch a movie.  We'll figure something out.  I'm just excited to spend time with my little man!

Today I feel much better than yesterday.  I didn't end up going to bed early last night - but thankfully I do feel somewhat productive today!  Tomorrow is payday (for ME) so I will be happy to have some $.  I'd really like to have something from Starbucks ...Mmmm :)

Last night I baked a chocolate cake for Shelby an I.  I made my grandmother's homemade coconut pecan icing to go on top.  That was my *NEW RECIPE* for this week.  I will post the recipe HERE later today.  It turned out really good! Shelby isn't much of a nut person, so he didn't really like it.  BUT i think next time I will make it without just to see if he likes it any better.  It tasted just like my Nana's - so I was happy.  Since Shelby is going to be gone this evening, I probably won't cook dinner.  I see a PB&J in my future. :-)

I LOVE Productive Saturdays!!

Today was a great day :-)  Especially since I was able to get things DONE today! I love being able to cross things off my "to-do" list because it makes me feel so accomplished!

This morning I got up and got ready for the day.  Managed to do a load of laundry, pay the bills, and get little man ready in time to take Shelby to work (He left his car there yesterday afternoon).  After we dropped him off we ran over to Target and got our necessities : Formula, Diapers, Wipes, Cat & Dog Food, and a few odds and ends.  I LOVE TARGET!  WE attempted to do some Christmas shopping, but we didn't find anything.  We had a quick lunch at Zaxby's, and then we headed over to the mall to attempt some MORE Christmas shopping.  Again, NO LUCK!  That's OK though, we'll get it done in time!

After we got home I cleaned my house, I've done 4 loads of laundry, cooked dinner, cleaned the kitchen, and now I'm ready to relax! We watched The Ugly Truth tonight after dinner - it was pretty funny!

Tristan is growing SO fast! He's crawling pretty fast now, and he's pulling up to stand!!  He's such a happy baby - he makes Shelby and myself laugh everyday!!

I hope to have another productive day tomorrow .. We have church, then I need to come home and get my coupons together and run by the store (if I don't get them together tonight).  Shelby is playing Frisbee at 2, and then we have Life Group at 5:00.  We'll probably have a late dinner and relax afterwards.  Monday starts another work week - Blah!!

Oh, I almost forgot!  I need help with something - how do you disinfect a sponge??  I just threw my old one away and bought some more, and I REALLY like them and don't really wanna throw it away so soon... but I don't know what to do to disinfect.  What's the best way - does anyone know?!  THANKS!

YAY FOR THE WEEKEND!

It was so nice to sleep in a little bit this morning. We got to sleep in until almost 9 am - WOW! I never thought I'd see the day when sleeping in until 9 was REALLY sleeping in! :)

Today I had a fairly productive day. I got my house cleaned - it was a total disaster from this week. Got all the laundry caught up AND all the dishes caught up - except for some of the flatware. I really like coming home to clean house - I'm kinda cranky when my house is messy. I made up a "weekly schedule" for myself to follow during the week so I don't feel so overwhelmed. Hopefully I can manage to get more accomplished this way too! I'm a list maker - and this is basically a list telling me what to do each day and what time to do it. I HAVE to have a schedule .. I just feel lost without it!

Well, again we have got NOTHING packed for the move. I have a feeling we're gonna wait until the last minute an then just throw stuff in the moving truck. ha ha. I really don't want us to kill ourselves by trying to do it all in one day. When I was pregnant it seemed like I was always killing myself trying to get things done - and I'm just maxed out on that. Shelby has been working every night during the weekend, so he's basically exhausted and doesn't feel like "working" at home during the day - which I totally understand. We have to do something though.. the time is creeping up on us!

Tomorrow is CHURCH - and I'm looking forward to going. I hope the lesson is good. :) I really like our church .. Life Group starts back up tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to that. I'm just so happy that Fall isn't too far away. It's my favorite time of the year! So many fun things happen in the fall!
