Splish Splash I Was Takin' A Bath ...

I'm trying to come up with a theme for Tristan's bathroom.  I want it to be kid friendly and cute.  I'd also like for it to be somewhat gender neutral, because we plan on having more children in the future, and who knows - we might end up with a girl next time!

So - with that said, I'm on the quest to find the perfect children's bathroom.  Pottery Barn Baby has some CUTE ideas.  It's just HARD because there are so many different things to choose from - HELP!

This one is kinda gender neutral and really colorful, which I LOVE.  I like the pictures on the wall as well as a cute quote or saying.  I LOVE the white (for the life of me I can't think of what it's called right now).. the white boards on the bottom.  I'd LOVE to have that in my own bathroom!

This one is kinda plain, but I like the colors.  It's a frog theme - which is probably more of a boys theme, but still cute.

I LOVE the colors here - I'm thinking I might be leaning towards brighter colors.  Just so cute with white walls!

I've been thinking about this for a while, it's just hard to choose.  I'm the type of person who thinks about things forever before I finally make up my mind anyways.. so I guess I shouldn't expect this to be any different.  ha ha

The bathroom that we're using for Tristan now is the spare bathroom.  I will take some "before" pictures to show you.  I doubt we're going to paint the walls (since we're renting the house and it's not ours) so I know I can't really change anything about that.  It just needs to be turned into a little boy's bathroom.. instead of just a spare bathroom. :)

For those of you who own your homes, what do your bathroom's look like? What's your theme? Were you able to decorate your bathroom for fairly cheap?  Please share!

  2. I like the 3rd one a lot. It's bright, but the white has a calming effect. I like for bathrooms to be sort of calming. Our guest bathroom is sage green walls and purple, green and cream towels. The shower curtain is this really pretty floral pattern. Right now our master bath is freakin PURPLE because the previous owners didn't paint over it before they left. I want to do that one in a tropical/ palm tree theme. I'm going to paint the walls a light tan color (same as our guest bedroom). I always like the idea of doing a kids bathroom in a "fish" theme..like cartoon fish. :) Or cute little ducks. That's my two cents!

  3. That shower curtain in # 2 is from TARGET! :) I love a fish theme for children! Tristan's old bathroom was a Finding Nemo theme - the walls were painted and everything! It was PERFECT but, we moved. LoL. Now we have a blank canvas to make it "ours" :) Our master bathroom is Pink, Green, and White. The walls are a beige color, but the decor I have up is in those 3 colors. I wanna add to is because it's kinda simple, but we'll see :)
