Super Sunday :)

Tristan is almost 4 months old - where does the time go?? He is changing everyday and he is SO MUCH FUN to have around :) I think he's going to have a really good personality - he's always smiling, laughing, talking, playing - just an all around good little guy!

Today Shelby and I were talking about how good he is during church. We take his bumbo and he sits in that in between us in the pew. It's the cutest thing! He's such a big boy, ya know. ha ha Usually the routine is : Bumbo for a while, playing with my toys while sitting in my bumbo, then nap time! Nap time usually start when the sermon starts. Today we let him lay on the pew in between us. He did so well. I'm a very proud and happy Momma!

He's started a couple new things lately. For one he is sleeping on his side all the time now. It's the cutest thing when he's on his side cuddling a toy or something. I usually end up taking the toy away after he's good and asleep because I'm afraid he's going to suffocate himself (probably worrying for nothing). He still doesn't like to sleep with a blanket, but that's OK :) A new thing he started this weekend is a high pitched shrill / scream. I don't know if he likes the noise it makes or he's trying to get our attention - but it's definitely new and something that seems to be his new favorite thing to do! ha! He is such a TALKER - always making noises and moving. He's gonna be a thin baby if he keeps up all this moving around! I bet I'm gonna be in for it when he's mobile if he's this active now :)

I'm planning on going to bed early tonight so I can get up early tomorrow morning and work out before I have to go to work. I've been really lazy and I've gained a few pounds back from what I lost after Tristan was born. I've been meaning to lose the weight - since I'm huge - but I'm so lazy! ugh! I'm having a hard time getting into the right mindset and being motivated to get healthy. It's very important that I do get healthy because I'm not getting any younger and things like diabetes and heart disease runs in my family. I've been putting off going and getting a follow up glucose test done to see if I am still diabetic (which I'm afraid I am) and I need to stop doing that. Diabetes can lead to so many other problems, especially with your heart, and I don't need that. It's really scary to think about. There are some other things going on as well that I need to address and take care of. I'm going to start praying for motivation and willpower. I need it!

Well, tomorrow starts another week! Let's make it a good one! :)

  1. I hear ya on the working out..I have absolutely NO motivation..I'm always so darn tired from taking care of Lucca hehe. Randy has tried to get me on several programs but I just am not motivated anymore after the first week..I hope you can do better than me!!

  2. Good luck with working out! I have GOT to start walking again - I did so well in preparation for my wedding, and I don't think I've walked a single time since then!!

  3. We should all start being accountability partners fot one another :) Maybe that will help us!!!!

  4. accountability helps soooo much. i haven't worked out since i left FL (well not really...does working on the house count?) good luck miranda. you're a very strong woman.'re NOT huge. miss you.
