Hey everyone! Sorry I've been MIA the past few days.  I've had a kinda busy / crappy weekend.  Hopefully this week will be MUCH better and productive!!

So I told ya'll about my dental experience on Thursday.  Absolutely terrible and very scary!  I went home that evening and went to bed at 6:30.  I was exhausted from all the crazy meds I was on.  ha ha.  Friday I went to work , which was a fairly productive day, and then went home early because I didn't feel good.  My dad ended up coming into town on Friday evening and stayed until this morning.

Saturday I got up, but was completely exhausted! I was tired and dragging the whole day.  I just didn't FEEL GOOD - I felt so worthless.  Saturday evening I ended up laying down at around 8:30.  It seems like as the day went on, the worse I felt.  By 11:30 I was in the bathroom vomiting.  I made quite a mess - I seriously thought we might have to repaint the walls because it wasn't coming off!  Thankfully my husband, equipped with a gas mask (NO JOKE), went in and scrubbed the walls for me so that I could lay back down.  Thankfully I didn't vomit anymore.  The next day, Sunday, I was pretty worthless as well.  Much to the dismay of my husband - who was tired of "doing all the work".  I just couldn't help it - I had no energy.

Yesterday morning I had another dentist appointment.  Now that all my extractions are out of the way, they can go in and fix the fillings that need to be done.  They ended up taking an old filling out and replacing it (with a white one - I was SO excited!) and fixing a couple small ones beside the tooth that was just extracted.  Let me tell you - this was one of my BEST dental experiences EVER.  I didn't hardly feel ANYTHING - not even the numbing.  She worked fast, even though it took a while, and I felt so relaxed.  I only have 1 more appointment, on my b-day, and then I'm DONE DONE DONE!

Although I was sick and "lazy" for most of the weekend - we did manage to get Tristan some new shoes from Stride Rite.  He looks so cute in his little shoes! We tell him he's a BIG BOY now because he has big boy shoes.  ha ha.

These are his "everyday" shoes :)
These are another "everyday" pair we got him :)
And seriously - I didn't see these at the store but aren't these absolutely adorable?!
It was nice that my dad came to visit.  Tristan is doing so much now and it's nice for my family to see him.  He is walking SO good now and he's starting to stand on his own.  He's such a happy boy - I'm so lucky!

Speaking of my happy boy - I've been planning his first b-day party.  It's going to be a cowboy / western theme.  I've been looking at Etsy at all the cute stuff on there.  I might actually try to make a few of the things myself - but if not I can purchase it off Etsy.com because it's not very expensive.  I've mainly been using the things I've found off there for inspiration - I'm sure I'll have my own personal touch in there as well. :)

I love this personalized shirt with bib to match :)

This is a centerpiece - how adorable?! I wonder how hard this would be to make?

I want a cake - but these little cupcake toppers are way too cute!

I'm thinking somewhere along these lines for a cake.  I like the tiered effect with the paisley - we'll see what I can come up with.  I know this will probably be kinda expensive - so maybe I can have a smaller, but cute, cake and then cupcakes?

I'm thinking about going to the craft store and purchasing some cow print and paisley fabric for table cloths, etc.  I am still in the beginning stages, but I'll keep you updated with what I find :)

I hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!

  2. I'm glad you had a better experience at the dentist this time! Some people have one time that they remember that was bad and won't go anymore so I'm glad you did!

So I'm guessing you were sick from the dentist but with the no energy and vomiting.....could there be a baby Tucci number 2 on the way?

  4. Those center pieces would be cake. The painted hats, horse shoes, etc are all at Michaels (maybe Hobby Lobby) for like 50 cents each. Put in a bucket of foam and cover with "hay". Good luck!
